Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid reviewed vaccine stock status and the pace of vaccination at Civil Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Chief Secretary Punjab, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Secretaries of P&SHD and SH&ME Department and top military and civil officials were present whereas Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners joined via video link.
The Health Minister said, "All districts have been their share of vaccine There is no shortage of vaccines. Besides increase in number of centers mobile vaccination camps are being set up. The NCOC targets shall be achieved."
Chief Secretary Punjab said action will be taken against districts not achieving the targets.. Kasur, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, DG Khan, Faisalabad, Lahore must increase vaccination. He said data reporting must be improved and there must be separate reporting for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dept. Chief Secretary appreciated Mianwali officials. Complete briefings were presented by Secretary P&SH Dept Sarah Aslam and Secretary SH&ME Barrister Nabeel Awan.
